Planned Giving

Planned Giving in support of the Roughrider Scholarship Foundation

Over our lifetime there are many people and institutions that have a significant impact on our lives. Among them are our families, teachers, churches, colleges, and universities. Another very important influence on us as we are growing into adulthood is the community in which we were raised. One way to give back to that community is to help our youth receive the opportunity to advance to the next educational level after their high school experience is complete.

Giving opportunity to future generations

When you support the Roughrider Scholarship Foundation through a gift, you are helping ensure that future generations have the opportunity to enjoy the highest quality of education. The Foundation is committed to building a significant fund to maintain our commitment to opportunity.

Planned giving is a simple and effective way of making gifts which can often result in larger donations while providing powerful tax benefits & sources of income to the donor.

Perpetuating Opportunities through Planned Giving

Through the many planned giving options available, you and your family can benefit from making a gift to the Roughrider Scholarship Foundation that is consistent with your own financial and estate planning needs.

There are many methods of deferred giving that can be of tax benefits to the donor as well as make a significant difference for graduating seniors of Center High School.

  • Gift of Home, Farm, Ranch
  • A Gift by Will
  • Gift of a Retirement Account (401k, SEP, etc.)
  • A Gift of Life Insurance
  • Charitable Remainder Unitrusts and Annuity Trusts
  • Charitable Gift Annuity
Corporate Giving

All planned giving participants become members of the Education Foundation’s Legacy Society and will be recognized on the Wall of Honor at the Center High School. In addition, the Foundation has devised special recognition and naming opportunities for those participating. This provides donors with the opportunity to perpetuate the name of a loved one, a family, a friend, or a special teacher or mentor. Each donor’s circumstances are different so individuals are urged to consult their legal and financial advisors about the planned giving vehicle that is right for them.
