How to Apply for the Roughrider Scholarship
All graduates of Center High School in Center, Texas, are welcomed to apply for scholarships to be awarded during their graduating year.

Applicants are required to participate in an interview conducted each Spring by the RSF Interview committee. The committee is comprised of members of the community selected by RSF board members. The committee selects the recipients of the scholarship based on the application submitted and the interview held.
The scholarship amount is determined by the Board of Trustees each year based on interest available and is paid directly to the college, university, or technical school the student designates. Funds are dispersed in two payments; one-half of the award amount in the fall and spring following the student’s graduation.
Should the student fail to enroll in a college, university, or technical school, the scholarship funds are returned to the Foundation. Scholarships are non-renewable.
